The Sandpiper is appreciated for its excellent location, being close to both the train station and the beach, and just a short walk from Barmouth town centre and the Mermaid fish and chip shop. Many guests find the rooms spacious, some offering lovely sea views, and appreciate the convenience of having a fridge, along with tea and coffee making facilities. While a few guests have noted that some rooms could use a refresh, the value for money and the proximity to key attractions like the sunset viewpoint make it a popular choice.

Excellent Seaside Stay

bottled watercoffee facilitiesquiet roomgood customer service
The room included bottled water in the fridge and tea and coffee making facilities with a kettle. I found the location to be the biggest selling point and the room was quiet. I appreciated the bonus of two packets of biscuits and fresh bottles of water in the fridge. Customer service was very good .
The water leak from the ceiling during rain disrupted my sleep one night.
